Anchit Nayar is the executive director and CEO of prestige beauty retailer Nykaa Beauty. In this role, Nayar spearheads the flagship beauty business with a focus on industry-first initiatives and e-commerce experiences. Nayar joined Nykaa in 2018 as chief executive of the company’s retail arm, where he led the retailer’s brick-and-mortar expansion. Under his leadership, the retail business grew from 25 to 70 stores and the division's revenues grew by over 300 percent. Today, Nykaa has over 200 stores spread across 72 cities in India and recently launched its first offline beauty store, Nysaa in Dubai in partnership with ApparelGroup. Nayar was named in Fortune India's 40 under 40 list of achievers in 2022 and was recognised by Forbes India as the Tycoon of Tomorrow in 2021. Nayar holds a degree from Columbia University.
