August Bard-Bringéus
Co-Founder, Asket
August Bard-Bringéus is the co-founder of Asket. While studying at the Stockholm School of Economics, Bard-Bringéus and his fellow co-founder Jakob Dworsky had grown frustrated with how hard it was to find something as simple as a quality white T-shirt or a good fitting Oxford shirt. They saw an opportunity to move away from fashion’s seasonal churn and instead introduce a permanent collection of mindfully produced, quality and timeless garments – and only selling online
Bard-Bringéus’s remit is broad, covering marketing, e-commerce, product as well as special projects. He has continued to push for change in the fashion industry by introducing wholly new business practices; from launching Asket’s Traceability Standard, which aims to achieve 100 percent traceability across the collection’s supply chain, to introducing a lifecycle analysis project. Prior to starting Asket, Bard-Bringéus worked in management consultancy as well as at a fintech start-up.
