Model and Activist

Rawdah is a hijabi model and activist, who has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle, and served as fashion editor of Vogue Scandinavia. In 2021, she launched the viral #HandsOffMyHijab campaign in response to France’s ban on hijabs in certain public spaces, which gained international attention. She began her modeling career walking a Max Mara show in Milan, and went on to star in campaigns for brands including Cartier and Dolce & Gabbana. Prior to modeling, Rawdah was a behavior analyst in Norway with a focus on youth mental health, leading her to collaborate with organisations like UNICEF. She was recently inaugurated into the Forbes Africa Over 30 Under 50 list.
