Founder and Creative Director,
Jacquemus
Simon Porte Jacquemus is a French designer and the founder of Jacquemus, a ready-to-wear and accessories label. Jacquemus’ collections are inspired by fine art, photography, sculpture, French culture and the designer’s own life. Throughout the trajectory of the label the brand has challenged marketing norms in fashion, staging runway productions in unexpected locations including a Parisian swimming pool, a lavender field in Provence or a wheat field outside of Paris. Jacquemus’ career milestones include self-publishing the coffee table photography books “Marseille Je T’aime”(2017), “Images” (2020), and “Le Chouchou” (2023), shot by Martin Parr.
